One more post before I go!

I wish there was a town level ...is there?

There probably would be much more property damage if there was )

EDIT: I just realized there was a new Vinland Saga chapter out recently. This chapter, as usual, can be summed up with the following: djaskfdls;afj

Tomorrow, around 11am, I'm heading off to a Cruise to Canada! 5 days on the Carnival: Triumph. Awww yeah. Girls of the family only, and seeing as you have to be 18 to gamble, I have a feeling me and the black jack table are going to be nicely acquainted by the first night aboard. We also have a room with a balcony, which is actually more scary than relaxing....s-such a nice view though.

Once I get back, I'm being switched off to Dad, and we're heading down to Virginia Beach for a week with his side of the family.

I'll take lots of pictures! Now, I just have to figure out what else I need to pack.....

Serious Question about Prince of Persia! [Jun. 26th, 2009|05:54 pm]
[Tags|, ]

....so when do the Prince and Elika start making out? Soon? I hope it's soon...

I have a feeling that the L1 and L2 buttons are going to get worn out pretty quickly at the rate I'm going.

Thinking about it, 19 years old brings nothing new to the table...

Except for a brand new Playstation 3. Awesome.

I'm going to try and pick up some games tomorrow, so does anyone have some games to recommend?

But now, I spend the rest of my Birthday cleaning the house and packing for vacation!

The cat we've been feeding in our backyard was run over by a car today.

He was so friendly and sweet, he didn't deserve this. It's such a shame that this happened.

oh look, an art post.

My computer keeps playing Lysol commercials at me even when I'm not on the internet. Either it's telling me that it wants to be cleaned, or I have a virus. Mmmmm.

I forgot how to use a pencil again. )

I'll continue the art requests in a little while ;_;

If you are reading this right now, you have more luxury than someone in Iran could ever hope for right now. If you are watching TV or a video on youtube, updating your status on Facebook, Tweeting, or even texting your friend, you are lucky. If you are safe in your home, and were able to sleep last night without the sounds of screaming from the rooftops, you need to know and understand what is happening to people just like you in Iran right now.

They are not the enemy. They are a people whose election has been stolen. For the first time in a long time, a voice for change struck the youth of Iran, just as it did for many people in the United States only seven months ago. Hossein Mousavi gained the support of millions of people in Iran as a Presidential candidate. He stands for progressiveness. He supports good relations with the West, and the rest of the world. He is supported with fervor as he challenges the oppressive regime of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

On Friday, millions of people waited for hours in line to vote in Iran's Presidential election. Later that night, as votes came in, Mousavi was alerted that he was winning by a two-thirds margin. Then there was a change. Suddenly, it was Ahmadinejad who had 68% of the vote - in areas which have been firmly against his political party, he overwhelmingly won. Within three hours, millions of votes were supposedly counted - the victor was Ahmadinejad. Immediately fraud was suspected - there was no way he could have won by this great a margin with such oppposition. Since then, reports have been coming in of burned ballots, or in some cases numbers being given without any being counted at all. None of this is confirmed, but what happened next seems to do the trick.

The people of Iran took the streets and rooftops. They shout "Death to the dictator" and "Allah o akbar." They join together to protest. Peacefully. The police attack some, but they stay strong. Riots happen, and the shouting continues all night. Text messaging was disabled, as was satellite, and websites which can spread information such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and the BBC are blocked in the country. At five in the morning, Arabic speaking soldiers (the people of Iran speak Farsi) stormed a university in the capital city of Tehran. While sleeping in their dormitories, five students were killed. Others were wounded. These soldiers are thought to have been brought in by Ahmadinejad from Lebanon. Today, 192 of the university's faculty have resigned in protest.

Mousavi requested that the government allow a peaceful rally to occur this morning - the request was denied. Many thought that it would not happen. Nevertheless, first a few thousand people showed up in the streets of Tehran. At this point, it is estimated that 1 to 2 million people were there. Mousavi spoke on the top of a car. The police stood by. For a few hours, everything was peaceful. Right now, the same cannot be said. Reports of injuries, shootings, and killings are flooding the internet. Twitter has been an invaluable source - those in Iran who still know how to access it are updating regularly with picture evidence. People are being brutally beaten. Tonight will be another night without rest for so many in Iran no older than I am. Tonight there is a Green Revolution.

So I forgot to mention it, but my packages both came in yesterday! So now I have sexy sexy volumes 7 and 8 of Pandora Hearts. Volume 8 especially came with...well I don't know exactly what you would call it, but I think it's what the mangaka was going to do before the actual storyboard. There is Oz and Gil and guns and more chains and allusions to Sharon and Break at the end and I want more of it. I'll scan it later because it's a lot of pages to do right now.

BUT BUT BUT I did scan the undercovers of the volumes! And First:

He is so so ronery 8(

Scans under the cut )

Dad just called to ask me to pick him up at the hospital. Fuck.

ETA: Picked him up. Turns out some asshole smashed into his car mirror, shattering the glass into my Dad's face. The car kept speeding away, so they'll never know who did it.

Pieces of glass just barely missed his eye, but left a deep enough gash to go into the bone.

-There's so much I want to do lately. I want to reread the Harry Potter series, reread the Lord of the Rings, try to work through a Chemistry workbook to prepare for next semester, keep up with practicing Japanese and German (also for next semester), and I want to draw more.

-I'm replaying through Okami, and loving every second of it. Things are so much easier when you can carry over all your money and items from the previous game. Watching Waka appear in a flurry of sparkles is 10 times funnier when you know about him. Currently on my way to Kamui to freeze my ass off. It also occurs to me that the Water Tablet is my favorite item ever.

Once I finish obsessing about getting every stray bead this time around, I'll move on with my life....maybe.

-Speaking of fuzzy animals, my parents began feeding another cat in the backyard. He is adorable and I'm pretty much setting down hints that he should come in the house *hint hint*

I'm already calling him Keev (I have no naming sense, so sue me) and he is the friendliest cat I've ever seen. He keeps trying to get into the house, but he loves being petted.

-I've wanted to draw for a while now, but I just can't muster up the motivation to actually finish anything besides a few sketches in my books. So hit me up for sketches. Request anything you want, any series you think I know. Most anything in my interests or tags is up for grabs. Okami, Pandora Hearts, and Hetalia are highly reccomended. Feel free to request original characters or whatever!

The problem with LiveJournal is that we think we're close, but really, we know nothing about each other.

So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about, or something you've always been curious about but have never asked, or something completely silly that you'd like me to answer for kicks. No limits on the range of questions, either: ask me anything you want to know about, whether it's a fannish opinion or a question about a fic of mine or trivia about my real life or my thoughts on events in the offline world.

Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you!

Because I am bored and gave up on cleaning.

I'm going to go replay Okami.

I have many adventures in my house. They usually happen when I decide to clean the bottomless pit that is my room. More importantly, I seem to find interesting things.

One being an old Jones bottle I kept because it had lolcats on it:

But even more interesting is the fact that I found a book titles "The Cookie Sutra".

The rest of this post is NOT WORKSAFE )

The idea of Reinheitsgebot never fails to make me laugh. Oh Germany, you never kid around with beer. Remind me to join the confiscation squad when I get older, because obviously, by 'confiscation of contaminated beer' they mean 'CHUG CHUG CHUG'.

I was supposed to explore the '4th Dimension' with my friends today (which, according to them, is in the graveyard near my old high school) but I had to stay home and wait for the Salvation Army to come over and pick up a wall unit from us.

My mother figured that while giving away our wall unit, it would also be a good idea to give away the couch. And the leather chair. On the bright side, I now have an area that I can play the Wii in without breaking a lamp. Again.

I usually don't listen to this kind of music, but damn I've become addicted to this. PS Champion and Ping-Pong don't rhyme.

I'm trying to reread Tsubasa Chronicles in an attempt to understand the clusterfuck the recent chapters have become. I really miss how cute this series used to be. All the little expressions ♥

I obviously should not be allowed to go to Borders, because everytime I go, I always end up spending more than 50 bucks.

But then again, HELLO Clover Omnibus edition, you look so good sitting on my bookshelf. The color illusrations are gorgeous.
