Just finished my Japanese extra credit which consisted of me going with my friends to a Japanese Hibachi restaurant and stuffing my face with something I've never eaten before.
Well technically, I've eaten Calamari before but the professor doesn't know that shhhh.

So I love Kanji. Like. A lot. And Naoto. And Rise. I think it's all the fanart that sold me so far, but even so, I have a feeling I'm going to die (oh happiness!) when they're all on my big gay team.

Client Support has had my laptop for 10 days, and they haven't even looked at it yet? uuuugh.
Please creepy train kid go away i don't want to ever see you again. You make me sad.
Finishing Temeraire also makes me sad. I went through all five in about six days and I feel empty inside now that there's no more to read yet. |

F-list, I have a problem.
You see, I am currently jobless and kind of need money. Money is pretty awesome. It allows me to buy things like Assissin's Creed 2 and many other video games.
I've applied at the library, which would be the perfect place for me to work, seeing as it's a University job and pretty flexible concerning the hours. But the thing is, they're pretty filled up right now.
My other option would be to go back to my old job at the University Calling Center, but I quit that because I felt it was slowly sucking away my soul. And even if I went back, I would only be able to work 2 days, and then My entire week would be filled up totally.
So my question to you, flist, is:

Yesterday, my Neighbor's kid got hit by a car by his friends house. He's fine. He got a gash on his leg from his bike and a bump on the head, but otherwise he's doing fine.
I got called over to pick up his baby sister from his grandmother, because I guess legally, the police aren't allowed to have a baby in the car withouth the seats. Of course, that doesn't matter seeing as they jetted once I came, and didn't even give the grandmother a lift to the hospital. Which means the poor kid was alone until the Mother got back in from Long Island.
I got a call this morning from the grandmother because she wants to go to the hospital to visit. Which means I get the baby (who is 2 but whatever). |

There's some big hoohaa going on tomorrow at Bryant Park in the City. From what my friend tells me, a bunch of Broadway actors are performing songs there! I'm heading over there with my old theater group to listen in and go shopping teehee.
I have to pick up a Birthday gift for two of my friends and my Uncle.

All the awesome things that happened today, pretty much just got canceled out. Not even the Trek shirt will make up for it. okay well maybe it will
Please excuse this post. In my woe, I have taken to sniffing all the Bath and Body Works perfumes that I bought today (Marry me, O person who made Black Amethyst) and that tends to make me dizzy. Also, it should be noted, that lip-gloss isn't supposed to be so delicious that you want to like your lips over and over. 1) That's probably not healthy and 2) it just makes your lips dryer. And Pluckered Grape is very delicious.
I took a trip to the city today to Kinokuniya. Once again, I was disappointed to find they were lacking in the Pandora Hearts Department, so I placed a special order for some volumes! Also walked away with some nice Yu Yu Hakusho, Tsubasa 22, and Wild Adapter (!!!).
Ambushed my mom at her job, pondered why buildings are so so high in the city, and had a nice conversation with a stranger in the elevator concerning this fact.
We hit the mall, mainly to look for running shoes, though we got a little distracted by Yellow Rat Bastard at which I got a nice new side bag for school use and OLD SKOOL TREK SHIRT.

I just got back from Virginia Beach (/sob 9 hours in a cramped car) Saturday night. I'd have posted, but all I wanted was a hot cup of coffee and bed.

My big laptop is completely dead. It won't hold a charge, so all my music, documents, and programs are gone. I was looking at the warranty card, and apparently, the warranty ends in October, this year, which is AMAZING. I'll call them later today and see what can be done about it.

Tomorrow, around 11am, I'm heading off to a Cruise to Canada! 5 days on the Carnival: Triumph. Awww yeah. Girls of the family only, and seeing as you have to be 18 to gamble, I have a feeling me and the black jack table are going to be nicely acquainted by the first night aboard. We also have a room with a balcony, which is actually more scary than relaxing....s-such a nice view though.
Once I get back, I'm being switched off to Dad, and we're heading down to Virginia Beach for a week with his side of the family.
I'll take lots of pictures! Now, I just have to figure out what else I need to pack..... |

Dad just called to ask me to pick him up at the hospital. Fuck.
ETA: Picked him up. Turns out some asshole smashed into his car mirror, shattering the glass into my Dad's face. The car kept speeding away, so they'll never know who did it.
Pieces of glass just barely missed his eye, but left a deep enough gash to go into the bone. |

-There's so much I want to do lately. I want to reread the Harry Potter series, reread the Lord of the Rings, try to work through a Chemistry workbook to prepare for next semester, keep up with practicing Japanese and German (also for next semester), and I want to draw more.
-I'm replaying through Okami, and loving every second of it. Things are so much easier when you can carry over all your money and items from the previous game. Watching Waka appear in a flurry of sparkles is 10 times funnier when you know about him. Currently on my way to Kamui to freeze my ass off. It also occurs to me that the Water Tablet is my favorite item ever.
Once I finish obsessing about getting every stray bead this time around, I'll move on with my life....maybe.
-Speaking of fuzzy animals, my parents began feeding another cat in the backyard. He is adorable and I'm pretty much setting down hints that he should come in the house *hint hint*
I'm already calling him Keev (I have no naming sense, so sue me) and he is the friendliest cat I've ever seen. He keeps trying to get into the house, but he loves being petted.
-I've wanted to draw for a while now, but I just can't muster up the motivation to actually finish anything besides a few sketches in my books. So hit me up for sketches. Request anything you want, any series you think I know. Most anything in my interests or tags is up for grabs. Okami, Pandora Hearts, and Hetalia are highly reccomended. Feel free to request original characters or whatever! |

The idea of Reinheitsgebot never fails to make me laugh. Oh Germany, you never kid around with beer. Remind me to join the confiscation squad when I get older, because obviously, by 'confiscation of contaminated beer' they mean 'CHUG CHUG CHUG'.
I was supposed to explore the '4th Dimension' with my friends today (which, according to them, is in the graveyard near my old high school) but I had to stay home and wait for the Salvation Army to come over and pick up a wall unit from us.
My mother figured that while giving away our wall unit, it would also be a good idea to give away the couch. And the leather chair. On the bright side, I now have an area that I can play the Wii in without breaking a lamp. Again.
I usually don't listen to this kind of music, but damn I've become addicted to this. PS Champion and Ping-Pong don't rhyme.
I'm trying to reread Tsubasa Chronicles in an attempt to understand the clusterfuck the recent chapters have become. I really miss how cute this series used to be. All the little expressions ♥ |

It's kind of sad that I have to keep making posts to say that I'm alive.
I finished the semester on Tuesday and moved out of the dorms that same day. However, there's no rest for the wicked, as I was dragged back out to Long Island the next day. I basically spent my entire first day of Summer Vacation cleaning a Frat house. The Dust Bunnies, the Dust Bunnies.
Totally worth the $20 per hour....and the subsequent trip to Friendly's. Oh Happy Ending Sundaes. You make life sweet. And Delicious.
Thursday (HA posting at Midnight is trying to confuse me!), I was able to relax over at the beach ♥. We played football, where the girls could tackle the boys, but not vice versa. I, of course, took full advantage of this. And then we pantsed my friend. At least his shirt covered his front.
I forgot that the sun burns things. Like my skin. At least I remembered to put lotion on my face. Ow my arms...and my shins.
I'm so exhausted and this post is so disjointed. Good night. |

Today I moved out of my dorms. Dear lord, what a horrible time to close the roads off for 'emergency' repairs. I-I'm so tired. ngggghhhh.
On Thursday, I'm getting paid to clean a Frat House again. End of the Year Party messes. Joy.
I must also add Austalian to the list of places that people think I'm from, along with Wisconsin, Boston, Chicago, and Malaysia. I hold the door open for this one guy and next thing I know, he grabs my shoulder and asks if I was from Australia. His reasoning? My messenger bag had a kangaroo on it.

My computer is being really lame right now.
It's been giving me a hard time with signing on to MSN and making me resort to meebo, which I never know when someone is trying to reach me.
I was able to spend the most of the weekend at home, and ended up taking my parents out to dinner on Saturday. We tried to go see the Star Wars movie the same night, but alas, it twas not to be. So we ended up going to Borders were I spent about $70 on books. Yum.
So my Dad just dropped me off back at the dorms. We packed up the fridge, the tv and a couple of bags of clothing. I have two more finals on Tuesday, then my Mom's driving out here to pick me and the rest of my stuff up.
THEN IT'S SUMMER VACATION. HELL YES. I want to go to the beach so bad.
Now I should go study for Statistics.... |

So I went to Taco Bell on campus because I was hungry and had never been there before. I wanted the meal where they give you three Soft Tacos so I could share with my friend. The cashier thought I meant 3 meals.

FIRST OF ALL! WHY WOULD THEY MAKE ME TAKE 3 LARGE FINALS IN ONE DAY?! /sob sob.
Thankfully, my Statistics professor is cool beans and gave my class the option of taking it on our day (the 14th) or with the other section of the class (on the 19th). She requested extra space just in case ♥.
With three finals the day before, I doubt I'll have sufficient time to study all the formulas. At least she lets us use an index card....
What I'm basically trying to say is, I probably won't be online that often these next two weeks. |

So, I haven't been on lj that often, due to life and a whole bunch of other things. And seeing as finals are coming in a week or so, I'll probably be even busier.
But I do have art today! I was able to scan some of the things I doodled during work. It's not a lot, seeing as I've been going on a dry spell for drawing.
